I want to note that GN has had specific suggestions like the ability to record lectures for literally 5-8 years and other suggestions that they have not implemented. but Notability caught up on some of the most important complaints people had when comparing to GoodNotes. When I started making this list, there were many things I anticipated on saying GoodNotes has that Notability doesn't.
Neither one is better than the other, but with my preference of note taking GN is not my first choice anymore. I find my notes to look a lot more "bulky" and stoic than flowy and "artsy" in GN and more flowy in Notability. Overall, I find GoodNotes to be more aesthetic but less practical as a college student.
